Information about COVID-19 policies and procedures at Alaska Safety Alliance.

Our office is open to support essential industries that are keeping Alaskans working. The Alaska Safety Alliance is proud to support Alaska’s critical industries and essential workforce throughout the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Alaska Safety Alliance is taking steps to protect the health and safety of our staff, instructors, trainees, and the community. Things you should know and expect with regard to attending classroom training at our location include:

  • If you are signed up to attend an in-person training at the ASA office, you must complete the Health Questionnaire prior to being admitted to the class
  • You may not attend any class if you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for the virus, in the past 14 days
  • Please do not come to the ASA office if you are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19
  • An ASA staff member will take your temperature (touchless) when you arrive. Anyone with a fever will be asked to leave and encouraged to get tested for COVID. Training can be rescheduled for next available date
  • Masks are required at all times in common areas and in classrooms when you are unable to social distance from others
  • Disposable masks and nitrile gloves are available, if needed
  • Hand sanitizer is provided and located throughout the office
  • Staff pay special attention to cleaning and sanitizing. Equipment is disinfected before and after each use. Office areas, classrooms and common areas are professionally cleaned and sanitized every evening
  • ASA does not provide food or food storage areas – you may bring food/lunch and eat during class if it is not disruptive
