• Understand all driving requirements as outlined in the Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH), ConocoPhillips “Life Saving Rules”, and other ConocoPhillips procedures
• Know how to interact with equipment and personnel working along the roadside
• Know the proper actions to take when encountering wildlife on the roadway
• Recognize hazardous conditions and know the appropriate mitigation to take while driving on the North Slope
• Know the appropriate actions to take in case of an accident or emergency
