This event, sponsored in part by the Alaska Workforce Investment Board, is a two partial day event dedicated to advancing Alaska’s workforce. RSVP for the Convening Day 1 – October 14: 1:00-5:00 Held in conjunction with the Alaska Career and Technical Education (ACTE) Professional Development Conference at the Hotel Captain Cook, this joint session will bring together Alaska’s workforce and industry leaders with CTE educators for valuable face-to-face conversations. This collaboration bridges education and industry to strengthen career pathways and workforce readiness. Day 2 – October 15, 8:30-2:00 This day will follow the traditional Workforce Convening format, bringing together industry, education, and community leaders to advance the strategies outlined in Alaska’s Workforce Future plan and will include a networking lunch. For ACTE conference participants: Day 2 is part of post-conference activities and includes the morning convening and afternoon industry tours. There is no charge for attending the Workforce Convening. Workforce convening participants are not required to register for the Oct 12-15 ACTE conference. However, the ACTE conference is excellent and participation in both is encouraged!
