The Alaska Workforce Alliance (AWA) is committed to strengthening workforce development across all of Alaska’s industries through collaboration, education, and targeted initiatives. Guided by Alaska’s Workforce Future, our cross-sector workforce development plan, AWA focuses on shared statewide goals: expanding career awareness and pathways, developing a skilled and adaptable workforce, and ensuring all Alaskans can contribute their talents.

AWA is a subsidiary of the Alaska Safety Alliance, building on 25 years of experience and leadership in workforce development. We play a crucial role in building and sustaining a strong workforce across Alaska’s diverse industries. As the workforce development division of the Alaska Safety Alliance (ASA), AWA partners with state agencies, industry leaders, and communities to implement workforce strategies that align with Alaska’s economic needs and opportunities.
