Replace my NSTC Card

NSTC Cards Are Going Digital

Starting September 1, 2025, you will no longer receive a physical NSTC card after completing the NSTC Unescorted training.

Instead, you will receive an electronic certificate (also called an “e-certificate”). The NSTC Unescorted training e-certificate proves you have satisfied the minimum safety requirements for working on the North Slope of Alaska.

The NSTC Unescorted course does not expire. However, you will be required to take the latest Alaska Safety Handbook Update to stay up to date with the latest information and to keep your training current. The handbook is updated every four years, most recently on January 1st, 2022. Contact your supervisor for other training updates or refresher requirements.

How to Get Your E-Certificate
  • If you took the course online through ASAOnline, your certificate is in your profile.
  • Log into ASAOnline or the BIS Safety App.
  • Look in the “Completed” section.
  • You can download, print, or forward your certificate directly.

For step-by-step help, visit the FAQ section on this page.
