Alaska’s COVID-19 Response

Beacon Occupational Health & Safety Services’ COO Amanda Johnson will kick off the meeting with a safety minute. Amanda will also discuss Alaska’s continued efforts to stay ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alaska Projects Outlook

ConocoPhillips will provide an update on the status of Alaska projects as we head into 2022.

Pipeline Operator Qualifications

As the National Center for Construction Education and Research, NCCER will present on the current pipeline offerings available to meet industry needs -including expanded Covered Tasks list to include gas tasks – share updates on their new online training platform, and discuss available training to meet DOL Apprenticeship standards.

Pipeline Occupations

Alaska Safety Alliance, in partnership with US Department of Labor and NCCER, introduce pipeline apprenticeships to Alaska. Panelists from the three organizations will share more about the five new Registered Apprenticeships for Pipeline Occupations.

Where are the Workers?

Alaska Department of Labor Research and Analysis takes a look at how the workforce has changed, what motivates workers to return to work – and reasons why some are not coming back. What do the next couple of years look like and where will employers find the workers they need?
