In Alaska’s seafood industry, electricians install, maintain and repair electrical systems for a wide range of equipment and structures, from seafood-processing machinery to fire alarms. On floating processors, electricians are part of the engine-room department. Just think: as long as there’s electricity, you’ll have a career.
