Diesel Mechanic

There are mechanics… and there are diesel mechanics.

Diesel engines are a whole ‘nother thing, and keeping them running takes specialized training. Diesel mechanics at a mine repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy-duty equipment and vehicles used in underground and on the surface. Equipment includes electric shovels, haul trucks, drills, bolters, graders, dozers, tractors and light vehicles. If you love the rumble and purr of a vehicle that can move mountains, this is for you.
