Apprenticeship

Do you want to build your workers’ skills and grow a strong Alaskan workforce? Apprenticeship is a proven method to attract new talent, reduce turnover, increase productivity, and gain long-term, highly skilled employees[1]. Dollar for dollar, no workforce training method has greater return on investment for employers as apprenticeship[2].

Initiating and maintaining an apprenticeship training program can be daunting. That’s where we can help!  The Alaska Safety Alliance is an NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor, able to assist contractors of all sizes to create, monitor, and maintain internal apprenticeship programs that meet rigorous U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship standards – while still customizable to your company’s unique needs.

NCCER curriculum is available for more than 70 skilled trades! Materials are regularly reviewed and maintained by a national committee of Subject Matter Experts, and each curriculum approved by the U.S. Department of Labor for use in a Registered Apprenticeship program. You can be certain your employees receive the most up-to-date information and high-quality, performance-based credentials. And you, the employer will receive continued support from ASA to ensure a successful worker training program.
