Alaska Health Workforce Coalition:

Growing Alaska’s Healthcare Workforce, Together

Back to Alaska Workforce Alliance

Welcome to the Alaska Health Workforce Coalition!

Modeled after the first Alaska Health Workforce Coalition that disbanded in 2021, the revised Alaska Health Workforce Coalition is now housed within the Alaska Workforce Alliance and shares the goals of Alaska’s Workforce Future, the cross-industry plan developed by the Alaska Workforce Alliance in collaboration with the State of Alaska and Alaska industry partners.

The Alaska Health Workforce Coalition (AHWC) serves as the state’s hub for healthcare career development, connecting educators, trainers, and healthcare organizations to create coordinated pathways into health professions. Through pooled resources and breakthrough initiatives, the AHWC simultaneously addresses workforce shortages, expands career opportunities for Alaskans while improving community health access throughout the state.
